Conservative estimates are that over one hundred thousand men, women, and children died in the Iraq War. Weapons of mass destruction that were used as justification for this illegal war were launched by the Americans and the British forces themselves. The monument is a twin tower (or, because they're stumpy, twin tanks) one located in London and the other in Washington. The cylinders are approximately five metres high and five metres in diameter, and have a volume equal to the blood spilled in the war. They will be manufactured of depleted uranium, as a reminder of the cancers and birth defects that continue into Iraq's future.
