The proposal was prepared for the international sculpture and landscaping competition for the Europe Park, which the Municipality of Nicosia (Cyprus) held in 2006 for the design of a grove on a central road in Nicosia. The motive was the accession of Cyprus to the European Union.

My proposal covered the sculpture and the landscaping with technical support from the architectural firm of Chrysanthos Chrysanthou.

Thirty-six artists/groups took part in the competition. I submitted two proposals, which won 1st and 2nd prize, with the intention that elements from both proposals would be used.

At the award ceremony I learnt that the requisite sum of money (1.000.000 euro) for carrying out the project was not available. Some interest in financing the project was shown by the private sector but without result so far.
