The reason the focus on art is more important than ever is because problems in our society are escalating at record rates. What I am hoping to gain from my vision/dream is that the school officials and the public will realize how important teaching creativity is to our future generation and that they will understand that the arts are an essential part of our everyday lives. Therefore, art must be emphasised 04 he everyday curriculum at all schools in America, starting with elementary students. The influence on the teenage population would be tremendous. There would be less high school drop outs, therefore we could eliminate some of the criminal activities.
We, our society, the media and the entertainment industry will have made sure that we give the future generation something to occupy themselves in an intelligent way for the rest of their lives. They would be exposed to many positive possibilities in life because society helped them, showed them the way. Yes, through the arts, the mirror of life.
