Unrealized Project:
One of my unrealized projects is an exhibition about exhibition making. The exhibition as a medium in itself is becoming popularly appreciated, and is only beginning to become understood. We are in a time when such an exhibition would be enormously challenging, but which would further open the avenue of discourse on the topic. Can you imagine an exhibition in which the viewer enters a space that does not display artworks, but rather, which displays the display methods? I wish to view the historical progression of presentation methods, and to begin a wider conversation about the way we visually encounter and digest art.
