Interacting Products
Interacting Products is an art installation consisting of two products that interact with eachother and an optional third party interacting with one of the products. The first product is a 909 drum machine which features a clap sound effect as one of its drum sounds. The second product is a lamp commonly used in college apartments connected to mains electricity via the Clapper product which turns it on or off when it hears a double-clap in the room. The two products complete a loop when the drum machine signals the light to turn on and off via sound; the result being low-fidelity synaesthesia. This project was never completed due to lack of exhibition space.
