Tabakalera (2008) LE VOYAGE DANS LA LUNE The trip Us astronomers, motivated by our curiosity and thirst of knowledge, we have design a capsule – the golden room- that will enable us to discover other realities. The great event takes place, finally, and the launch of the rocket starts our great project: to discover unknown worlds and spaces. The unattainable moon waits for us, intrepid explorers. Behind its face there is a reality that we don’t even imagine. Finally we reach the dreamed object! Our capsule reveals an unknown reality. Objects, images and creatures that lived hidden in the far-off face are now shown to us. A new reality opens our eyes, discovering the Tabakalera interior. The golden capsule The rocket will be the room sheltering brave travelers and us, visitors of the building. Getting into this golden room we will discover new realities. The trip begins, and the capsule will depart from the known to discover the unimaginable, relating and connecting distant worlds. Explorers travel to an unreachable place: our new Tabakalera. The moon, knowing its mysteries, awaits us smiling. The nineteenth-century building waits expectant our arrival. Finally we enter the awaited place. Our golden capsule – always in movement - invites us to unexplored worlds. The new place We enter the moon and an immense unexplored landscape unfolds before our steps. We walk places we only have known trough imagination. We discover an unexpected interior of tabakalera, walking through golden beams. Our golden room has enabled us to know stars, planets, spaces, and marvelous creatures. And now, in this new world and through magic periscopes we can see the far place where we came from. The moon creatures have shown us other reality. After visiting this new place we will return to the Earth, knowing that our golden room enables us to know other worlds, unreachable before.
