Robert Rauschenberg was asked to do a cover for Time Magazine to celebrate the opening of the World's Fair at Flushing Meadows in New York City, in 1964. The cover design was rejected although Mr. Rauchenberg says he feels it reflected the situation perfectly in that the fair wasn't ready and there was a great deal of chaos and confusion surrounding the event.
