The project is a film that would have been made in Brookside Close, Liverpool, the actually existing cul-de-sac of houses in which the long-running TV soap opera 'Brookside' (1982 - 2003) was filmed and set. My plan was to go to Brookside Close and make an 'experimental' film there. This film would be have been broadcast on Channel 4 TV instead of one of the usual episodes. My episode was set during a storyline that was running in 1995, when a mysterious flesh-eating bug was decimating the residents of the Close. A short video piece made in that year, Telly, contains re-edited fragments from one of the episodes, and is illustrated below.
