My projects are often unrealized projects. Many and different the reasons. Practical difficulties, like the lack of money, the lack of a physical suitable space, of real opportunities, are certainly present and important, but, at the end, surmountable. More difficult to fight against his own character, his own laziness (Mediterranean?, “Oblomovian?”), against nauseam and rage for an often dispossessed everyday (isn’t all useless?). All valid reasons, but, at the end, also these surmountable. The question, and the consequent choices, are, I think, after all analysis, based - intimately connected - on his own way to live, to intend our life, and, consequently, on his own way to intend and to do art. To privilege the dream, the imagination, the thought, without the anxiety to come to an end (The Empire of the Things?, The Economy Dictatorship?), to love the beginning, the unfinished, the incomplete, the imperfect (the Other?) are, for example, very good and substantial reasons: I prefer the new that start to the boredom of completing it. Money, what else? is the last, in order of time (2010), unrealized (for the moment?) project.
