This series of work is a set of installations proposed but not realised.

It is an ongoing project aimed at freeing another piece -- 'In the shadow of her gaze n.02' -- from the constraints of its reliance with the wall. Each proposal is capable of being realised in scaffolding, a material of components with endless possibilities for construction and reconfiguration.

Each piece is made from fragments. The sculptural structure currently exists solely as a maquette, constructed to scale in modelling materials. The location shown is real; somewhere I may have submitted a proposal to show the work but which was rejected.

What happens to such proposals? Do they remain forever trapped in my head? Do they shift from fictional desire to realised image, trapped in the virtual environment of the World Wide Web?
