Background “Technical development and science have become ideology” said once Habermas (1975). At present one must not be a philosopher to acknowledge that a growing trend in the contemporary world is that technological development is given a growing importance. Reckoning the fact that technology will indeed enable mankind to grow more productive crops to feed an ever increasing population, to explore sources of fuel which in the past seem to be inaccessible, and better to produce less energy consuming goods, this technological drive seems to have spread to all human activities, even the arts domain. However the use of technology in the artistic field, arises questions: Where does art stop be a meaningful experience and start just being a technical exercise and make Mcluhan’s prophetic words a reality? Does the man on the street made insensible from the excess information made available by the high-tech branches of communication and mass media can get the message of technological influenced art? If the answer to the former question is ‘no’, which probably is, are the objectives of this ‘technologisation’ of art being fulfilled? My personal answer to the third question is ‘no’ too. If we consider in general terms that one of the main assumptions for the introduction of technology in any area is to enhance access or improve productivity (greater crops through genetic modified seeds, and so on), art was made more obscure to the common man/woman by means of technology. Moreover technology increased the costs of producing art, creating a new kind of elite who can afford the increased costs or have relations connecting them to right the resource sources. The role of sponsors is reinforced so is their ascendancy over the artists. With growing consciousness that resources are not renewable and increasing questioning of the consequences of technological development time has come to discuss the media of Art. In a world that Man seem to be made insensible by the very use of technology which should provide him information to have a clearer view of reality, the question is how much more technology will be necessary to wake Him up. There was Art before technology and Art there will be after the present technology vanishes away. Even though the development of Art and technology in the evolution of mankind is intertwined their aim was always different. Art is meant to give meaning to man’s life and surroundings. Although every man’s life has an end, we are not born to die but to act. Art is the means by which our actions can last forever, to quote Hannah Arendt. Technology is related to man’s survival. It is linked to the biological cycle of being born, living and dying.
Objectives

On the one hand, by presenting him images with simple forms, organic patterns and bright colors, which could be painted by a child, as a reminder of something He could had seen long time ago. In order to evoke the feeling of unusual He once had when entered an unknown city for the first time. On the other hand, by giving him the feeling that He is also able to draw/paint something by Himself. What He just needs is a pencil, a piece of paper and some colors. Art is generous enough to be accessible to everybody, different from technology….
