    Can we turn the horror of being dematerialized whether in the eyes of a beloved or in a community into the super-hero power of invisibility and back again.

    8 cameras in a circle point out over the room. 8 grid camera view rear projected simultaneously onto floor-to-ceiling membrane. Viewer walks to the center of the room looking at themselves in the cctv projection and watches themselves disappear in the BLIND SPOT.

    We are watched. We are erased. We disappear. Sometimes by force. Sometimes by choice.

    Can we turn the horror of being dematerialized whether in the eyes of a beloved or in a community into the super-hero power of invisibility and back again. This CCTV installation attempts to turn the technology of surveillance into a disintegration-integration device.
