is the outline of an inflatable bouncing castle in shape of the headquarters of the major bank Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt am Main - Germany.

The german word Hoffnung (HOPE) comes from the root hopen/hüpfen which means "to hop, to bounce (in expectation)", "to dither"…

To hope is a more or less conscious inner composure directed towards the uncertain. To hop or to bounce is a rhythmic movement somewhere between flying and falling. Both hoping and hopping entail an undefined moment between two conditions.

CyclicaL financial crisis in the stock markets are becoming a periodical component of the financial systems. The upward and downward movements of the share prices cause also collective bouncing movements of hope. After the latest global financial crisis the financial systems are calming down again now. The banks, "saved" with public monies, start a new round. Whoever was hoping for an overcoming of capitalism has to wait further on. Disappointed hopes called Illusions in retrospect, as if the possibility of their fulfillment had dissolved completely afterwards.
