Interactive-Installation
1) At the height of at least 5th or 6th floor of a public art space (museum or foundation) it will be installed a door opening on the void. The door must be red and in wood, liek the door leading to a room in a house. Actually I'm thinking of a specific heavy wood red door of a specific mansion in burgundy, that gives out the right vibe.
2) Next to the door, closed but not locked, a panel will be put, saying: IF YOU OPEN THIS DOOR AND JUMP YOU WILL BE FAMOUS
There is the need to find an agreement with authorities and the museum to handle the dangerous and controversial situation , almost impossible to handle somehow, but this is what interests me. How many people would at least consider this? Is it a criminal act ? Or just an artistic provocation? How differently in different countries people would react? Does this absurd situation tell us something about LIFE or not at all and t is useless?
This artwork has been conceived by Alessandro Rolandi in 2008 in beijing it has never been accepted by any institution.
