This was a proposal for the Defense Urban Development area in the city of Paris. The work, which takes on the appearance of a monument, would consist of stone or marble plates, bolted together to create a weather proof box-shaped container, housing shelves and divisions would display 654 products made in the United States. Both mundane and important items of everyday use would be placed within the structure, to create a time capsule of products . The structure would be sealed from both access and view for many years to come and could be opened at some planned date far in the future. This time capsule monument would measure approximately 72" high, 90" wide, and 54"deep, and the exterior surfaces would have carved inscriptions titling the work, one side in English, the reverse side in French.
